AI Math

The availability of modern AI tools allows me to produce results (better, resultoids) faster than I can write papers. These are far from publication ready, and I will not upload them to arXiv (though I plan to turn many of them into papers eventually). My personal vision for the future is a “Pluribus” mode for mathematics, where everybody’s results are immediately available to everybody everywhere. For this reason I am going to share these preliminary results in their raw form already here, for everyone to see, check and use, assuming proper attribution and transparency about their origin.

Resultoids

  • A self-dual polytope without a self-polar realization (pdf, supp. material)
This answers a question by Jensen. The idea is interesting: one constructs a 10-dimensional polytope where one face is the 4-dimensional BEK-polytope which has a non-realizable symmetry. One then ensures that a self-polar realization must realize this symmetry, which cannot be.
